David Braun, M.D.

Biography

David Braun, MD is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with extensive background and training in sports medicine and general orthopedic surgery. He specializes in arthroscopic and reconstructive procedures for patients of all ages. He performs robotic and computer assisted joint replacements of the shoulder, hip and knee.

Dr. Braun attended Temple University for his medical degree and his masters in business administration. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Allegheny General Hospital, and followed it with a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He was able to be part of the physician teams treating numerous professional and collegiate teams like the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Guardians and Pittsburgh Pirates.

In addition to his clinic work, Dr. Braun has participated in many research and publications on surgical techniques and sports medicine. He is part of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.

Procedure specialties include: arthroscopic rotator cuff surgery, arthroscopic labral repair and shoulder stabilization, computer-assisted total shoulder arthroplasty, computer-assisted reverse total shoulder arthroplasty, elbow surgery, carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel release, robotic total hip replacement, robotic total knee replacement, arthroscopic assisted ACL reconstruction and repair, arthroscopic meniscal repair, arthroscopic cartilage restoration, tendon repairs, and fracture care.
